Photographers
When selecting a photographer for your big day, three very important things to keep in mind are style, experience and value. There are various photographic styles, ranging from traditional formal portraiture to photojournalistic coverage. Caught in the Moment lives up to its name by photographing beautiful and sincere wedding day images. Creating personal relationships with each bride and groom enables us to capture their true love and affection naturally. One of our secrets is to include an engagement session with each photography package. This helps break the ice and even people who profess to hate being photographed end up loving their experience with Caught in the Moment and treasuring their photos.
With over 22 years collective experience, we realize that couples prefer to be treated with individuality. A lot of personal attention is paid to each bride and groom to understand their vision of the perfect wedding day and their photographic style preferences. Caught in the Moment focuses on the wants of its clients, and even creates customized lists of formal group pictures. This relieves the bride and groom of any worries and allows the photographers to work quickly and adeptly to keep the day’s activities flowing smoothly.
One way to measure value is to look at who shares your appreciation. Caught in the Moment is respected for its outstanding creativity and high caliber of professionalism by many of the finest local wedding and reception venues. Area hotels, fine dining restaurants and cruise lines recommend us to their clients and use our work for their own advertising and marketing purposes. - Provide wedding party and family members an invitation or schedule for where and when they are expected
for photos, both before and immediately following the ceremony.
- Most brides run late - when planning hair and make-up appointments, add at least 30 minutes to the preparations.
- Have bridal shoes, both wedding bands and special mementos available for your photographer to take detail shots.
- When exchanging rings during the ceremony, try and position your hands so your guests and photographer can see the moment.
- Make sure the florist delivers the bouquets and boutonnieres to the location you plan to take photographs before the ceremony.
- Consider your photographer’s suggestions for timing: The more time you have for photos, the more relaxed everyone will be in the pictures.
- Look through magazines for photo ideas. The pictures you choose will help both of you interact more naturally
during the photo session and help your photographer fulfill your wedding day dreams.
